IS IN A WEEK FROM TODAY, on June 10th :P I’m so excited I just had to share with tumblr. I’ll be 21 and over the next 3 weeks I’ll be going to Vegas, seeing the Tallest Man on Earth in LA at The Wiltern, going to see Van Halen in San Diego with my dad, and moving to Chicago and starting a new job. I’m so excited. A much needed change in my life. I can’t wait! I hope you all are having a good weekend <3

Well I don’t really post too much self body acceptance but I think this is important to me. I’m going to Vegas for my 21st in a week or so and I bought this two piece to wear there. For the first time in awhile, I wont give a fuck what people think when they see my body like this. And its a super cute swimsuit :)

Using knives, tweezers and surgical tools, Brian Dettmer carves one page at a time. Nothing inside the out-of-date encyclopedias, medical journals, illustration books, or dictionaries is relocated or implanted, only removed. Dettmer manipulates the pages and spines to form the shape of his sculptures. He also folds, bends, rolls, and stacks multiple books to create completely original sculptural forms.
GAH altered books are so beautiful. One of my favorite forms of art <3 I’ll own a collection one day
